It’s always been said that it is bad luck for the grooms to see the bride’s wedding dress before their big day, but in today’s society more and more couples are choosing to toss that tradition aside. We wanted to share with your groom some tips to help make finding “the one” with you, an unforgettable moment you can both cherish forever.
Plan Ahead
Researching what themes and aesthetics you both want at your wedding will allow for a better understanding to what you both want and need. Do not forget to help plan ahead, as pushing things to the very last minute might have worked in the past, but for your special day any way of helping solve any and all problems before there is one will make the process that much smoother when making a final decision on the dress and suits.
Be Open Minded
Don’t let your idea of what a bride should wear on the big day discourage you. Your wedding day is just as important to you as it is to her, and finding common ground and being understanding in what she wants is important. Make sure to give your opinion on what you would like to see, but remember that the final decision is ultimately on your partner as they are the ones who will be wearing the dress. Your bride wants to feel beautiful and making sure that you can show her how much she does will help make the dress finding process so much easier!
Be Supportive
Shopping might not be the strong suit for most grooms, but remember that one of the biggest jobs you have when helping your partner decide on a dress is to make sure they feel comfortable throughout the entire process. From there, everything else will be a piece of cake! Being supportive and showcasing that you are there for them is what is most important.
